The SMAI Peanut Roller - Stainless Steel Hot & Cold is a unique the massage roller that allows warm and cold massage therapy. The ball is constructed from a stainless steel shell filled with thermal retaining gel to absorb heat or cool, allowing a long lasting thermal therapy. The peanut shape makes it ideal for spine release and neck massage. The benefits of heat in easing muscle soreness and tension is well documented, and may aid in reducing stress and anxiety. When used as a cold massage therapy tool, it will cause narrowing of blood vessels (Vasoconstriction) which can aid in reducing swelling and inflammation and decrease soreness.

To use as a cold massage roller, store the ball in a freezer and take out just before use for soothing, cold massage therapy. The roller will stay cold for approx 1 hour.

To use as as a warm therapy massage roller, place the ball in a bowl of warm tap water for 10 min before use. (Do not place the roller in boiling water or excessively hot tap water - the roller will become dangerously hot and you risk serious burns)
