The SMAI Massage Ball - Stainless Steel Hot & Cold is a unique massage ball that allows warm and cold massage therapy. The ball is constructed from a stainless-steel shell filled with thermal retaining gel to absorb heat or cool, allowing a long-lasting thermal therapy. The benefits of heat in easing muscle soreness and tension are well documented, and may aid in reducing stress and anxiety. Cold massage therapy will cause narrowing of blood vessels (Vasoconstriction) which can aid in reducing swelling and inflammation and decrease soreness.

To use as a cold massage ball, store the ball in a freezer and take out just before use for soothing, cold massage therapy. The ball will stay cold for approx. 1 hour.

To use as a warm therapy massage ball, place the ball in a bowl of warm tap water for 10 min before use. (Do not place the ball in boiling water or excessively hot tap water - the ball will become dangerously hot and you risk serious burns)
